At home decompressing

You must accept where you are to decide where you want to be and how you want to go about getting there. In the journey of life, along with the journey of touring, you don’t always get the prestigious hotels & fun cities to have a day off in. Sometimes you are deep in the south where dial up is the only way to get on line. Where walking on towels in your hotel room is the only way to manage sleeping in a gross hotel. But mostly, it is what it is. What matters most is keeping perspective on what’s important long term rather than seeking immediate gratification. We must sacrifice today for the sake of tomorrow and should that mean another night of prime rib in catering, that in the long run means I can stay home - then, hand me the carving knife. And with that, I can accept & move on….. of course, with a little assistance from a hidden bottle of red wine in my suitcase.
