Living on the road is a variable of extremes. Coach Class/First Class. Multiple nights in a comfy bed hotel or indefinitely living in your coffin on the tour bus with 10 men. Two shows in a row or 10 in a row. A four hour drive into a day off or spending 18 hours of your life (in your coffin) commuting to a place you’ve never hoped to go, only to spend 24 hours there wishing you never have to return to. Bursts of excitement from sold out shows in LA & NYC, followed by a wall of disappointment to a half sold show in Springfield, USA. Despite the herky-jerky nature of the business and the spasmodic moods of band members & crew…. I wouldn’t trade this lifestyle for anything.
